Sowing The Seeds Of The Future
All nine primary schools in Cramlington were provided with a large wooden planter, compost and a donation of £50 when they entered Cramlington Town Council’s inaugural primary school competition.
The schools were tasked with creating the best planter using flowers, vegetables and their imagination! The winner will be entered into the Northumbria in Bloom special awards category, where they will compete with other schools located between Berwick in the north and as far south Sunderland.
We are delighted to announce that the winner of this years competition is Village Primary. Eastlea Primary were a close second and third place has been awarded to Northburn Primary. We were very impressed with the planting schemes produced by all the schools and hope the pupils enjoyed creating them as much as we enjoyed looking at them. The future of Cramlington looks green!
