Shop local at the Makers and Bakers Market on Saturday
March 7, 2019
This Saturday Manor Walks is holding a food and crafts market where they hope to encourage people to buy local.
The shopping centre’s Makers and Bakers Market will take place both indoors and outdoors from 9am-5pm with over 25 traders taking part.
The event, held in partnership with events2gogo, will showcase local produce, artisan gifts, handmade jewellery and crafts from a range of independent traders from the North East.
Visitors will be able to shop, grab some food from street vendors and enjoy a family day out at Manor Walks while supporting local traders and businesses.
Bruno Coppola, General Manager at Manor Walks Shopping and Leisure, said: “ Our Makers and Bakers Market event will offer our customers something different every month whilst complimenting the current retail mix in centre.
“In the current climate it is important to encourage people to support their local traders and businesses. By shopping locally you are not only keeping money within your local economy, but you are also investing in your local community.
Manor Walks will be holding its Makers and Bakers Market on the second Saturday of every month between 9am and 5pm.
