Sitting comfortably thanks to Rotary donation

Cramlington Rotary Club had kindly donated two items of seating which have been placed in Seven Oaks Park.

A picnic table and a bench are examples of the club’s intention to focus on local causes with their latest fund-raising initiatives.

Cramlington Town Council Services Manager Daryl Wood is seen with Cramlington Rotary Club president Robert Nixon at the picnic table.

Robert thanked Cramlington Out To Play Association for their help in providing the seats and said that he looked forward to seeing the table and bench being well used by the local community.

In previous years many Rotary clubs have focused on their very successful international campaign to reduce polio – indeed polio cases have now been reduced by 99.9 percent worldwide.
