Spring flowers provide a welcome splash of colour in Cramlington
Cramlington is full of colour thanks to spring planting undertaken by the Town Council.
Seven thousand plants, funded by the Town Council, are blooming in beds across the town and providing a welcoming splash of colour. And this will be followed later by summer bedding and wild flower planting as part of the Council’s drive to make Cramlington one of the most attractive places to live in Northumberland.
This and other environmental works are made possible by the Town Council’s support to the Cramlington Partnership. The Partnership was set up in 2014 and under this arrangement the Town Council pays the County Council for enhanced services in Cramlington. Our support pays for 10 full time workers engaged on grass cutting, litter collection, flower planting and other works to a level that would not be possible without the Town Council’s financial support.
If you have an issue that the Partnership team can help with, don’t hesitate to contact us by telephone on 01670 707831, by email at services@cramlingtontowncouncil.gov.uk or message us on our Facebook page.
