There is still time to sponsor one of Cramlington’s giant poppies

Cramlington’s giant poppies are once again on show as the team from the town council are busy fixing them to lamp posts on key routes in the town.

There is still time to sponsor a poppy with all donations being passed on to the Cramlington branch of the Royal British Legion.

If you would like to make a donation please call in to the Cramlington Town Council office, Surveyor’s House, Blagdon Terrace, Cramlington NE23 1DN between 9am and 4pm, Monday to Friday.

Cramlington Royal British Legion Branch chairman, Joe Wallace said, “It’s great to see the main  routes coming into Cramlington lined with poppies – it just goes to show the generosity of the local businesses and townspeople of Cramlington giving their thanks to those who sacrificed their lives so that we can live in peace”.
