Tinsel and Tidings – an evening of festive music and sparkle…

Cramlington residents are invited to join the Town Mayor at a special Christmas concert to raise funds for her nominated charity, Macmillan Cancer Support.

The ‘Tinsel and Tidings’ concert is guaranteed to fill you with Christmas spirit as our Town Mayor Councillor Helen Morris explains: “It’s my pleasure to invite you to this festive concert which will capture the essence of Christmas. And I’m delighted to announce that the music will be provided by the North East branch of Rock Choir, so an evening of quality entertainment is guaranteed!”

“Macmillan is a fantastic organisation that provides vital support and care to people affected by cancer and their families. By coming along to our concert, you will be supporting the wonderful work carried out by the charity I have decided to support during my term of office.”

Rock Choir is made up of all ages and levels of experience, who have been rehearsing tirelessly to bring you an amazing selection of feel-good pop, rock, contemporary chart songs and Christmas hits guaranteed to get you in the festive mood. They will be performing at St Nicholas Church, Church Street, Cramlington on Saturday, December 9th at 3 pm. Tickets are free but it is hoped concert goers will give a contribution to Macmillan.
