Town Council backs community action group
Cramlington Town Council is delighted to see the opening of the town’s first official ‘Warm Space’ which is which is also available free for community and voluntary groups to use to promote their services.
The space is managed by Community and Voluntary Action Blyth Valley (CVABV) who have a long history of supporting local causes.
CVABV supports groups and community initiatives by working with them to attract start-up funding and resources. In the past year they have supported 32 Cramlington community organisations and by opening the Warm Space they are aiming to give further support to Cramlington residents.
They have also supported thirteen Cramlington groups as they secured funding of over £142,000 in the past twelve months.
Keen to support the CVABV which aids so many Cramlington groups, Cramlington Town Council has given the organisation £5000 and the Council’s Youth Coordinator Joe Eltringham is seen handing over £5000 to Thom Bradley from CVABV.
If you would like to utilise the space, email info@cvabv.org.uk for more information and a booking form. The window can be used to display flyers promoting groups or services. You can email flyers and posters to info@cvabv.org.uk, or drop it into the Cramlington Warm Space.
