Town Council Community Chest offers grants to support local residents
Do you know about Cramlington Town Council’s Community Chest?
Voluntary community groups and organisations are encouraged to apply for grants that will be used to benefit, support and improve the lives of the town’s residents.
The maximum grant is £750 and to ensure a fair distribution of available funds, grants will be limited to 75% of the full cost of a project.
Various criteria must be met by applicants such as the organisation having a bank account, having limited reserves and be Cramlington based or having a significant presence in the town. The money cannot be used for loan repayments, clothing, religious or political activity.

Cramlington Town Council Community and Youth Manage Maggie Martin said: “We want to support groups whose work benefits the local community and environment. Applications will go before our Community and Youth Committee which meets six times a year. Full details are on the link above – I’m looking forward to receiving applications and hearing about the projects we can support.”
