Treemendous! Pictures from Cramlington’s Christmas Tree Festival

There were some very inventive decorations on show at the recent Christmas Tree Festival in St Nicholas’ Church.

From toothpaste and toothbrushes, cars and spare tyres to more traditional angels and stars – there was lots to enjoy.

Many of the decorations were home-made which added to the appeal and as well as the 24 trees that were decorated by local businesses and organisations, local schools created displays around the windows.

Well done to the event organisers – it certainly filled us with Christmas spirit!
