Cramlington foodbank has launched an appeal as it is running short of food…

Manager Joyce Docherty explained: “We are urgently asking for donations as currently demand is very high. In particular we are looking for tinned food – kidney beans, tinned pies, spaghetti, vegetables. But we will gratefully receive any donations – the best place to drop them off is here at The Hope Centre in Forum Way, Monday to Friday, 10am to 4pm and there are also a variety of collection points including Sainsburys and Asda.”
