VIDEO: Cramlington is open for business
Town centres across England have reopened today and here in Cramlington special measures have been put in place to help people adhere to the social distancing rules.
Each town has developed its own re-opening plan following consultation between councils, traders and other key stakeholders such as Manor Walks in Cramlington.
The effectiveness of the measures will be continually monitored and feedback used to adapt the rules and signage as necessary.
During the first week of opening Community Ambassadors are in place to offer support and guidance to shoppers.
