Woodland trail offers family fun during the school holidays…
The woods around Northumberlandia took on a mystical air today as the voices of imaginary fantasy creatures could be heard echoing through the trees.
The free audio trail was part of Cramlington Town Council’s commitment to providing no-cost activities for local families during the school summer holiday.
Hive Storytellers created the magical characters and at various points on the trail a QR code enabled the character’s story to be heard via a mobile phone.
Cramlington Town Councillor Loraine De Simone commented “It was lovely to see the youngsters listen to the stories as they wandered through the woods. What a great way to keep their interest going as they enjoyed a walk. The characters created by HIVE were just magical!”
