Bridge Northumberland is a voluntary programme to help people living in Northumberland who are out of work and aged 16+ to overcome barriers to training, education and work.
We help by giving you one to one support from a dedicated Bridge worker who’ll be with you every step of the way to improving your confidence, developing your skills and moving towards employment.
Our support is free and fully funded. The programme is completely voluntary and for anyone who is:
- Aged 16 years not in education or training
- 18 to 67 and unemployed or economically inactive
- Lives in Northumberland
A Bridge worker would work-one to-one with you, creating with you a personal action plan based on your individual needs and interests. Bridge can help people to grow in confidence, gain connection with professional friends and peers as well as finding opportunities to volunteer and make positive supported steps towards training, education and employment.
This personalised support can include;
- Financial MOT including benefits & debt advice
