Age UK Northumberland provides information and support to help older people across Northumberland live better.
We offer free information, advice and advocacy support to over 50s across the county helping with Welfare Benefits claims, housing issues, life planning and social activities.
We also offer health and wellbeing support including exercise classes, diet and nutrition advice and befriending services.
In addition to our charitable services, we provide private and contracted home care services to people living in Northumberland.

A training company based in Blyth delivering training for 16 – 18 year-olds through study and traineeship programmes.
They support young people from Blyth, Ashington, Cramlington, Bedlington, Morpeth and beyond and also offer training for 19+ learners some funded and some self funded.

The company have continued to deliver training to young people throughout the Covid-19 pandemic lockdown.
They have used online platforms and all learners who were engaged at this time have successfully completed and passed qualifications.
Whilst the training centre is based in Blyth, they also offer training in other areas if groups of 10 or above are taking part.
They are happy to discuss this outreach work at any time.
Opportunity Knocks (North East) CIC is a small garden / craft activity project based out of the Briardale House venue.
They are a Community Interest Company (CIC) funded by Big Lottery, Tesco Bags and Community Chest.
They work with people who have mental health issues and are looking to develop work they started prior to Covid-19 working with refugees looking to develop their English through volunteer work in the garden centre.

Cramlington Town Football Club is a FA Charter Standard Community Club providing football opportunities for boys and girls from the age of four years old through to senior level. The Club prides itself on welcoming all children and young people, regardless of their current sporting ability to learn football in a safe, secure and supportive environment.

A community sports club that gives boys from the age of 4 the chance to try football and get involved in group activities and team sports. Players can go on to play for our men or ladies teams or choose to coach or referee. The club currently has 57 teams and over 700 players.

Maximum cost of £20 per month for those playing in teams which includes all associated costs such as strip and 3G training. Discounts for siblings, training only, etc.

Jane Percy House supports people with a range of disabilities including cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy, spina bifida and arthritis, multiple sclerosis and disabilities resulting from accidents or a stroke. As well as providing physical care, it is committed to ensuring that people have control over their lives and are treated with dignity and respect at all times.
Located in Cramlington, Northumberland, they provide accommodation and support for people with complex and high dependency needs, giving independence and lifestyle choices for adults with physical disabilities. It forms part of the nationwide network of disability support services provided by The Disabilities Trust.
Toddler Group has 3 sessions per week. It is a very popular and well-known group for babies and toddlers.
It is a safe environment for children to play, with a fantastic selection of toys, structured crafts and always finishes with a singsong. The room is carpeted so nice for younger children. Nothing is too much trouble for the dedicated team who run the group. Venue is lovely and clean with good changing facilities.
Parents and carers get a chance to talk and have refreshments while still being able to supervise their children. If you would like more information regarding the Toddler group please contact us.

Cramlington Man Shed aims to bring together a community of local people to help fight against loneliness, providing a safe place and home away from home for anyone who needs it.
If you or a family member is in need of some socialisation or are just wanting to get involved in your community then the Man Shed is perfect for you.
All you have to do is get in touch or take a walk down to the Shed where you will be greeted by other locals creating, building and having a great time!

An opportunity for over-50s to meet in a relaxed and friendly environment and make new friends. Monthly meetings include a speaker or light entertainment and raffle and the opportunity to mingle with other members and develop new friendships. We hold a pub lunch each month, at different pub/ restaurant venues in the area.
